HERCULES X4 Transportation Guidelines

The HERCULES X4 is shipped in a Pelican IM440 case. To ensure the safety of the drone and its accessories during transportation, follow these guidelines:

General Tips for Moving the Drone​

  • Keep the drone and accessories inside the case when moving in and out of the operation area.
  • Avoid transporting the drone already assembled in a car or truck.
    • Instead:
      1. Disassemble the drone and store its parts in the travel case.
      2. Reassemble the drone at the new location.

5 Rules for Storing the Drone in the Travel Case​

  1. Fold and lock the drone arms properly using the arm-pin lock on the lateral covers.
  2. Cover the propellers with the provided sleeves.
  3. Fold the antenna mast to avoid damage.
  4. Ensure the four motors are leveled within the upper tray foam.
  5. Place all eight propellers securely within the upper tray foam.

Failure to follow these instructions can lead to hardware damage, including:

  • Propeller damage
  • GPS mast damage
  • Arm carbon fiber tube damage

After any identified bad transportation, carefully inspect these three components for potential damage.
