HERCULES X4 Flight Modes
The HERCULES X4 can operate in 4 different flight modes:
1. ALTHOLD
- In this mode, the Drone maintains a constant altitude while allowing roll, pitch, and yaw to be controlled normally.
2. LOITER
- In this mode, the Drone maintains its current altitude and location (based on the GPS signal).
- The pilot can operate the Drone as if it were in manual flight mode, but when the sticks are released, the vehicle will slow to a stop and hold hover.
3. AUTO
- In automatic mode, the Drone follows a pre-programmed mission plan stored in the autopilot, which consists of navigation commands.
4. RTL (Return to Launch)
- In return-to-launch mode, the Drone will hover from its current position to the HOME location and then auto-land.
- There is a maximum height of 15 meters for RTL:
- If the Drone is below 15 meters when activating the RTL mode, it will climb to 15 meters before carrying out the procedure.
- If the Drone is above 15 meters, it will carry out the procedure maintaining the current height.
